Job Overview The Marketing Senior Director has a deep understanding of building meaningful connections with consumers, forging integrated brand/merchant partnerships, and creating buzz in the market through experiential activations, while establishing strong foundations of brand and creative management. The Marketing Senior Director is experienced in positioning the brands and their missions within the cultural zeitgeist - striking the right balance between limitless creativity and applying insights and data to inform all decisions. The individual in this role has previous experience in directly managing a team and is responsible for continuously evolving the end-to-end consumer journey, engaging the right audience at the right time, via the right channels. It is critical that the individual has deep experience in developing brands at scale but bringing them to life for consumers in a locally relevant manner. What You Will Do Marketing plan development that supports seasonal/annual sales and EBIT goals. Conducts seasonal strategy planning with merchant teams to align on product priorities. Develop relationships with Merchants and Fashion Office to align on key product stories and messaging to drive business. Develop and maintain external merchant vendor relationships with a focus on strategic marketing partnerships. Utilize market trends, consumer behavior, and competitive intelligence to identify opportunities for growth and differentiation in the market. Adhere to FOB budget based on total marketing budget guidelines. Experience leading, developing and coaching a team at various levels. Collaboration skills are critical with an ability to lead cross-functionally through influence and building relationships across functions and hierarchy levels. Skills You Will Need 10+ years of experience in re-imagining brands, deploying marketing strategies in a variety of local markets Track record in establishing brands and brand proof points through a variety of strategies, in a variety of channels - with focus on experiential, digital, social media and content marketing. Creative brand strategy and execution experience required. Experience in beauty and/or retail marketing space a must, with understanding of bringing different brands to life to the respective shopper.
