Summary: As a Solutions Engineer you will be responsible for working closely with the engineering team to provide technical and functional support to prospective customers. You will provide direction and specialist knowledge in applying the technology/application to prospective client businesses. You will develop and deliver high quality presentations and product demonstrations. You will present and articulate advanced product features and benefits, product future direction and overall NSS solutions. You will design, validate, and present NSS software solutions to include advanced product concepts, and future direction. You will present and articulate NSS product's strengths, relative to competitors. Effectively consults with management of NSS customers. Participates in proposal planning and business development activities. Develops and demonstrates moderately complex solutions. Provides solutions and prototype solutions for customers as needed. Interacts with the development team to enhance/refine NSS products in areas of expertise. Responsibilities: • Provide technical expertise through technical and product presentations, demonstrations, pilot implementations, and customer consultations. • Drive the adoption of NSS solutions within accounts, expanding usage across departments within organizations. Translate product/technical features into value drivers. • Develop and deliver training to improve product knowledge and demo abilities. • Work collaboratively with Engineering team to ensure the refinement of existing NSS products. • Respond to initial product requests and frame product issues for discussion and resolution with Engineering teams • Effectively communicate w/ engineers & stakeholders. Describe problems succinctly to enable issue management. • Develop/maintain technical and business knowledge of industry directions and trends Qualifications: • 5+ years of experience as a Sales Engineer, Presales Engineer, Solution Engineer, Solution Architect or similar role. • Ability to work independently, organized, can work on multiple projects at once. • Experience building and delivering demos and running technical validation efforts. • Excellent interpersonal skills and relationship building experience. • High energy, self-starter comfortable with ambiguity. • Ability to explain and resolve common technical aspects of SaaS software, including security, protocols for APIs, SLAs, email/communication specifications, etc. • Ability to see and present 'the big picture', architect solutions to solve customer problems, and uncover business challenges, develop custom solutions, and solve them. • Strong customer facing and relationship building skills. • Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills; needs analysis, positioning, and business justification. • Demonstrated strong teamwork and ability to collaborate with others while encouraging both individual and team accomplishments. • Must be able to pivot to other system related tasks when needed. • Previous Solution Engineering experience. ________________________________________________________________________________________________________ *****Must be a US Citizen, without Dual Citizenship***** IDEMIA National Security Solutions (NSS) is an equal opportunity employer.
