Must Haves: Solution Design Test Engineering DevOps and Release Automation Application & Data Architecture Role Based Competencies: Solution Design - Has demonstrated the ability to design and develop significant components within an application; has performed code reviews. Test Engineering - Proficient in designing, developing, and executing test cases. Knowledge of Test Automation and tools. DevOps and Release Automation - Ability to perform or support continuous integration and deployment activities within their role. Understanding and appreciation for DevOps culture. Application & Data Architecture - Possesses an understanding of architecture and bank standards. Participates in or supports delivery of architecture designs and implementations Required Skills Solution Delivery Process - Understands all roles and responsibilities within their team and uses the tool sets within the software lifecycle. Governance & Stakeholder Management - Contributes to artifacts needed for governance forums; Understands stakeholder expectations and creates regular updates to keep stakeholders informed. Business Products & Strategy - Basic awareness of products, services, business flows and strategy. Risk Management - Understands risks and can apply the controls necessary to mitigate. Knows when to escalate risks. Financials & Resource Management - Basic understanding of financial data and the impact that their role has within a team. Planning, Execution & Process - Actively participates in planning ceremonies. Has the ability to complete a task/story against plan/sprint commitment. Demonstrates working knowledge of Agile/Waterfall frameworks. Analytical Thinking - Possesses knowledge of prior solutions to existing problems and applies them to solve similar problems. Promotes Collaboration - Collaborates within a team. Seeks ways to develop cross-team collaboration skills and build trust. Influences Decisions - Ability to participate in discussions, process information and appreciate a viewpoint. Achieves Sustainable Results - Tracks the effectiveness of solutions through KPI's. Incorporates technical and financial factors when comparing different approaches to solutions.
