The College seeks an experienced Social Work professor and administrator to spearhead the Project Management of WC's application for our well established undergraduate social work program as it grows and takes the next step of engaging in the candidacy process to become an accredited program through the Council on Social Work Education (CSWE). The Program Director/Project Manager will oversee and guide the social work team through the CSWE accreditation process including the initial application, developing timelines, benchmarks, organizing site visits, and the required program self-study. Once accredited it will be an ongoing responsibility to keep the program on track to maintain its CSWE accreditation status. This position will have some teaching and college community responsibilities and will be ideal for a candidate who is interested in both program administration and the opportunity to teach a variety of Social Work courses and be an active member of the college's academic/student community. Essential Functions: Initial and continued guidance through the CSWE accreditation process. Align program adherence to the 2022 Educational Policy and Accreditation Standards including the nine core competencies. Assist in the development of a program marketing plan and coordinate with admissions to support student recruitment. Participate in community governance and cooperative support/planning of social work programming. Be an active and equitable team member of the Social Work department. Participate in program assessment and program review. Engage in scholarly activity and professional development. Provide service to the department, the college, the community and the profession. Encourage diversity and student professional development. Candidate Qualifications: Must have a Master of Social Work degree from a CSWE accredited college or university; doctorate degree in Social Work is preferred. Must be a Licensed Social Worker - preferably in the State of Ohio - or have the ability to transfer/receive an Ohio LSW/LISW license. Must have at least two years of post-MSW experience in the field and be in good standing with the Licensing Board. Experience with the 2022 CSWE EPAS accreditation standards and with the accreditation processes. At least three-to-five years of teaching experience, preferably at a CSWE-accredited program with additional program administration experience. Strong record of teaching effectiveness with a diverse student population and a demonstrated commitment to active learner-centered teaching. Experience with program review and program assessment including planning and tracking outcomes. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively and cooperatively with colleagues across many disciplines and degree levels. Evidence of a commitment toward diversity, equity, social justice, and inclusion.
