Objective: The Senior Staff Accountant will perform daily accounting functions, research discrepancies between core and accounting systems and help with month end close. Daily activities include posting journal entries, accrual reporting assisting the Contract Administrator and Customer Account Specialists with questions, general bookkeeping activities, and reconciliation review and follow-up. The Ideal Candidate will: Complete reconciliations and month end closing entries. Review and import employee expense reports. Reconcile bank accounts daily. Post and ensure accuracy of journal entries for business transactions daily. Process monthly special dealer incentive plans. Prepare and file local compliance reporting as necessary. Maintain a customer focused atmosphere for accounting. Possess the ability to prepare complex journal entries Reconcile cash disbursement accounts, payroll, customer accounts, and other financial accounts. What you need: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent organizational skills. Knowledge of general financial accounting and cost accounting. Understanding of and the ability to adhere to generally accepted accounting principles. Ability to prepare reports. Attention to detail and be able to work as a team. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite Qualifications: Required - Education : Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field, or equivalent experience. Work Experience: At least 5 years of related experience. Certifications : None Preferred - Work Experience : 7+ years of related experience.
