Description:
Ground Missile Defense (GMD) is the heart of the Missile Defense System and a key element of our nation's defense against ballistic missile attacks. The GMD Weapon System (GWS) processes data from multiple sensors to identify and characterize the inbound ballistic missile threat, plans the best defensive solution, and launches the intercepting missiles to negate the threat. In this role, you will work in a collaborative environment on internal model framework development, internal tactical to model conversion, supporting application development and translation of coding languages for modernization efforts. A level 4 employee is typically senior-career and has 7 to 9+ years of professional experience. #Active Secret Clearance and U.Bachelor's Degree in related STEM field and a minimum 10 years of related experience or a Master's degree in a related STEM field and a minimum 8 years of related experience. --- Recent and proficient experience in C++, GoLang, Cython, Bash, Javascript, SQL, MongoDB --- Recent Experience in an Agile environment --- Recent Experience in both Windows and Unix OS environments --- Computer Science Bachelor's Degree --- Experience with Ada, MATLAB, Rust --- Experience with Integrated Risk Management --- Exposure to Stimulation and Simulation Software Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration. Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
