The Senior Site Supervisor supervises construction operations on assigned construction projects, both multiple (four units or more) and single-family sites. This includes providing oversight for the work of site supervisors, vendors, subcontractors, national service members, and volunteers ensuring well-built homes along with a safe and meaningful volunteer experience. Qualifications to be a Senior Site Supervisor: Education, credentials, and experience: High School diploma or equivalent. Minimum nine year's residential construction experience and minimum five year's supervision experience with volunteer construction projects or seven year's residential construction experience with a minimum of 5 years first-level construction supervision (lead carpenter, foreman, or equal). Satisfactory completion of at least one TCHFH project of each type (new construction, single family, multi-family, large scale rehab), or equivalent prior experience Valid driver's license with good driving record. Personal auto insurance compliant with TCHFH Driver's Policy. Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Competencies: Attention to Detail: Ensures information is complete and accurate and follows up to ensure that agreements and commitments have been fulfilled. Equipment Operation and Maintenance: Safely operates and maintains heavy machinery, power tools, and other construction equipment according to guidelines and procedures. Blueprint Reading: Reads and interprets technical drawings and blueprints. Volunteer Management: Builds relationships with volunteers and fosters a positive volunteer experience, throughout the process of recruiting, training, tracking, engaging, and retaining volunteers. Coaching: Guides others to make the most of their available skills. Intercultural Competence: The ability to function effectively across cultures, to think and act appropriately, and to communicate and work with people from different cultural backgrounds.
