We are currently seeking an innovative and highly motivated Senior Scientist with a background in implementing high throughput screens to discover novel therapeutic modalities. Accountabilities: As a Senior Scientist, you will be a key member of our Oncology R&D team, driving projects through the drug discovery process. Your expertise in screening novel modalities will be crucial in establishing assay systems and delivering datasets that will have a direct impact on discovery programs. You will develop, conduct, and analyze experiments leveraging high throughput approaches to examine the function of our candidate drugs. Your role will also involve reviewing emerging literature and internal data to help identify new potential targets. Essential Skills/Experience: A PhD in a field requiring extensive high-throughput techniques across multiple modalities and biological axes and 0-2 years' experience assessing therapeutics by high throughput approaches, MS in relevant field with 2-4 years' experience assessing therapeutics by high throughput approaches. or a BS in relevant field with at least 4 years' experience assessing therapeutics by high throughput approaches. Proven background implementing high content screening (HCS) to both test novel modalities and discover novel axes pertaining to biological function. Experience across multiple instrumentation platforms designed for HCS, i.e. liquid handlers, and comprehensive understanding of programming these instruments. Expertise with multi-color flow cytometry, ELISA, TR-FRET or HRTF, and other techniques amenable to HCS. Ability to independently design and execute research plans for one or more programs, and to review, analyze, and interpret experimental results rapidly. Consistent record of success in your research and experience preparing written scientific reports and oral presentations. Desirable Skills/Experience: Strong interpersonal, influencing, negotiating and collaboration skills together with evidence of having used these to support problem solving and delivery in a team-oriented, collaborative environment. However, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition, our positions offer a short-term incentive bonus opportunity; eligibility to participate in our equity-based long-term incentive program (salaried roles) or to receive a retirement contribution (hourly roles).
