Key Responsibilities: Manage and oversee all financial and commercial aspects of housing construction projects. Prepare and review tender documents, contracts, and other project: related documentation. Analyse project costs and budgets, providing accurate forecasting and financial reporting. Evaluate subcontractor and supplier performance and ensure they adhere to contractual obligations. Negotiate and manage contracts, variations, and change orders. Provide guidance on value engineering and cost: effective solutions. Monitor and mitigate project: related risks and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. Collaborate with project teams, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to optimise project efficiency and outcomes. Maintain accurate records and documentation of all financial transactions and contractual agreements. Qualifications: Proven experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor, preferably in the housing construction sector. A degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field. Professional accreditation such as RICS or CIOB membership is a plus. Excellent understanding of construction processes, financial management, and industry best practices. Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills. Proficiency in construction cost management software and Microsoft Office Suite. The ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively. A valid drivers license and the flexibility to travel to project sites as needed.
