We have partnered with a multi-disciplined engineering organization in the Akron, OH area to provide them with a Senior Mechanical Engineer. Please review the below description and let us know if you are interested. Prioritized Must Have Skills for the Senior Mechanical Engineer: #1. Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering degree. #2. Minimum fifteen years? experience. #3. Experience in one or more of the following service areas: Chemical, Polymer, Refining, Utility. #4. Engineering/specification of mechanical equipment, including material handling equipment, pumps, pressure vessels, tanks, heat exchangers, and other process equipment #5. Pipe stress analysis/pipe support design #6. Lead Engineer for projects #7. Experience in consulting engineering is a plus. Responsibilities of the Senior Mechanical Engineer: Engineering/specification of mechanical equipment, including material handling equipment, pumps, pressure vessels, tanks, heat exchangers, and other process equipmentPipe stress analysis/pipe support designLead Engineer for projectsInterfaces with other engineering disciplines and clientsPerforms field work as needed. Requirements of the Senior Mechanical Engineer: Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering degreeA minimum fifteen years? experienceExperience in some or all of the areas of engineering mentioned aboveProfessional Engineering license a plus Other Key Requirements: Hybrid-office / remote scheduleAuthorizes a background investigation, including verification of past employment, criminal history, and educational backgroundSubmits to a drug test post offerPossesses a valid driver?s licenseAccepts that this position may require some domestic overnight travel.No sponsorships or visa holders.
