Senior Manager (Solutions Architecture)

Description:
Duties: Collaborate with system architects, software architects, data analysts, and Program Managers to understand business requirements. Develop data models, metadata tables, views or related database structures on Cloud technologies. Develop or maintain archived procedures, procedural codes, or queries for applications using ETL (Extract Transform Load) scripts on Cloud based data technologies. Develop data models describing data elements and how they are used and perform development activities using the appropriate data mapping techniques. Develop methods for integrating different components of the data solutions that serve interconnected businesses, so they work properly together. Review project requests describing user needs to estimate time and cost required to accomplish project. Participate in development of cloud data warehouses, data as a service, business intelligence and machine learning solutions. Design and implement high performance data ingestion pipelines from multiple sources. Mentor a team of high performing engineers to deliver complex data solutions and identify Data Driven Development opportunities. Collaborate with engineers or software developers to select appropriate design solutions or ensure the compatibility of system components. Utilize experience with Project Management: Microsoft Project; ETL Tools: Informatica Powercenter, Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services; Big Data Technology: Hadoop; Operating Systems: Linux, Windows; Design and Architecture Tools: Erwin; Languages: Shell scripting, SQL, Hive; Cloud: AWS; Databases: SQL Server, SQL developer; and Job Orchestration Scheduling: Control-m. Requirements: Employer will accept a Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business or related field and 5 years of experience in the job offered or Solutions Architecture-related occupation. Alternatively, employer will accept a Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business or related field and 3 years of experience in the job offered or Solutions Architecture-related occupation. Experience must include one year of experience with each of the following skills:1. Project Management: Microsoft Project2. ETL Tools: Informatica Powercenter, Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services3. Big Data Technology: Hadoop4. Operating Systems: Linux, Windows5. Design and Architecture Tools: Erwin6. Languages: Shell scripting, SQL, Hive7. Cloud: AWS8. Databases: SQL Server, SQL developer9. Job Orchestration Scheduling: Control-m Must be available to work on projects at various, unanticipated locations throughout the United States.
