Location: Eastern Time Zone - 2 Days every other week required in Newark, DE. - Remote remainder of time. Who You Are: You’ve got several years of experience in multiple areas besides HR, possibly you started in engineering or operations, spent a couple years in management and found 3-4 years in the People department was where you felt most engaged and fulfilled and you've developed a knack for creative problem-solving along the way. We think variety in experience is valuable in understanding how team members can be cared for. Empathy comes naturally to you, and you handle employee matters with a professional touch. Your eye for detail and strong planning skills set you apart, and you’re a pro at balancing the needs of employees and the company. Plus, you love diving into data to drive your decisions. Your friends and family consider you the smartest person they know, but you humbly keep it to yourself. Your Mission: Be the heartbeat of our people operations. You’ll be rolling up your sleeves to handle HR needs, ensuring our team feels valued and supported every step of the way. Your mission is to foster a culture of curiosity, creativity, and adaptability, making ProAutomated the best place to work for a team scattered across the US and Canada. What You’ll Be Doing: You’ll be hands-on with all things HR, from onboarding new team members to managing day-to-day employee relations. You’ll work closely with our Culture/People Ops lead, providing supportive guidance to ensure our culture initiatives thrive. Managing our recruiter will also be a key part of your role, ensuring our recruitment processes are smooth and continuously improving. Creativity and curiosity are your best friends.You’ll bring fresh ideas to our recruiting processes and collaborate with our Training Department to keep everything aligned. When it comes to employee issues, you handle them with empathy and professionalism, knowing when to address problems directly and when to escalate them for further assistance.You’ll also be the detail-oriented guardian of our payroll, insurance, and 401k plans, making sure everything runs like a well-oiled machine. Negotiating health insurance and compensation will be part of your toolkit, balancing the needs of our employees with those of the company.Your strong planning skills will shine as you organize company events and processes, from holiday parties to performance reviews, ensuring everything is planned well in advance for a smooth execution. And because you’re data-driven, you’ll always be on the lookout for insights to inform your decisions and solve problems.
