Position Summary : The Senior HNW Accountant will provide dedicated accounting support for the firm's high-net-worth clients, offering personalized services to track and report on their investments. This role involves financial and managerial accounting for client investments in the company's common and preferred equity, co-investments in private equity real estate transactions, private loans, and 1031 exchanges. This role is ideal for a professional looking to deepen their expertise in high-net-worth accounting while contributing to a growing investment firm. Key Responsibilities : Client Accounting & Reporting : Track and report on client investments, including real estate equity holdings, private loans, and co-investments. Prepare quarterly and annual investment summaries and customized financial reports for clients. Monitor 1031 exchange transactions into company-managed properties, assist client or client's outside agents with compliance and tracking. Financial Analysis & Support : Analyze investment performance and provide recommendations when appropriate. Develop detailed schedules of client investment activity, capital calls, distributions, and returns pertaining to Reef investments. Client Relationship Management : Serve as a key point of contact for clients, addressing accounting-related inquiries and providing high-level support. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate and effective communication of investment performance. Manage the books and issuing distribution payments for several LLC's owned by HNW clients/investors Qualifications : Bachelor's degree in Accounting. 2-3 years of experience in financial accounting or tax, with exposure to investment accounting or real estate preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software. Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Preferred Skills : Experience with high-net-worth clients or in a family office setting. Familiarity with private equity, real estate investments, and 1031 exchanges. CPA or similar designation is a plus but not required.
