The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in financial services, contested foreclosure, and/or commercial litigation in New York and New Jersey. This role requires a high level of responsibility in state and federal court matters, particularly in defending financial institutions in single-plaintiff litigation and appeals. Strong writing and communication skills are essential. Bar admission in both New Jersey and New York is required.Duties:Represent financial institutions in state and federal court matters, including single-plaintiff litigation and appeals.Handle contested foreclosure cases and related financial services issues.Draft and review legal documents including pleadings, motions, and briefs.Conduct legal research and provide strategic advice on complex financial services litigation.Prepare and present oral arguments in court.Collaborate with other attorneys and legal professionals to develop case strategies.Manage client relationships and communicate effectively with clients regarding case progress and strategy.Supervise junior attorneys and support staff as needed.Requirements:Minimum of 5 years of litigation experience, with a focus on financial services, contested foreclosure, or commercial litigation.Strong writing and communication skills.High level of responsibility in defending financial institutions in litigation and appeals.Bar admission in both New Jersey and New York.Education:Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.Certifications:Licensed to practice law in the states of New Jersey and New York.Skills:Extensive experience in financial services and contested foreclosure litigation.Proficient in drafting legal documents and performing complex legal research.Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to manage multiple high-profile cases and deadlines.Proven track record in handling appeals and defending financial institutions.Leadership and mentorship capabilities for supervising junior staff.
