J ob Summary The Senior Financial Analyst supports the financial health and strategic goals of Golden Waffles. This position is responsible for providing detailed financial analysis, developing forecasts, budgeting, and contributing to strategic planning initiatives. The Senior Financial Analyst must have strong analytical skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to communicate complex financial information clearly and effectively. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Performance Metrics (~50% of working hours) : Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) primarily via dashboards created in PowerBI, analyze business performance, and provide actionable insights to drive growth and efficiency. Comfortable working with department leaders across the organization to design and implement PowerBI reports. Financial Analysis (~15%) : Prepare financial reports and perform comprehensive financial analysis, including variance analysis, trend analysis, and financial modeling to support business decisions. Budgeting & Forecasting (~15%) : Assist in the annual budgeting process, develop financial forecasts, and provide regular updates to management. Cost Management (10%) : Identify opportunities for cost savings and operational efficiencies, and assist in tracking cost-control measures. Ad-hoc Projects (10%) : Participate in special projects and provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management as needed. Position Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred. Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in FP&A. Advanced PowerBI skills are a must. Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in financial modeling. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information clearly and concisely. Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with colleagues at all levels. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. High level of integrity and professionalism, with a commitment to ethical standards and compliance.
