Senior Environmental Technician (on-site) ETIC is an established and growing environmental consulting and construction company with offices throughout California. ETIC is seeking professional, safe, talented and self-motivated Environmental Technician to work on a long-term project in the Needles area of CA. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Perform operations and maintenance, inspections, monitoring, sampling, and troubleshooting of various types of environmental remediation systems; Prepare daily field reports and provide verbal notification of site status to the field supervisor; Assist with remediation well rehabilitation, remediation system expansion and/or repairs, or other remediation system work activities, as needed; Work with O&M staff and/client representatives to coordinate construction completion job walks with Subcontractors for understanding of new system components, As-Built review and distribution; Supervise and audit work of subcontractors; Maintain system logs in order to develop a routine report that shows any systems not operating as designed with explanation of actions taken or proposed; Adhere to ETIC and client-specific policies and procedures; Conduct daily Health & Safety tailgate meetings and ensure compliance with Health & Safety plan along with appropriate staff; Enforce safety policies among staff and all contractors; Assist in development and management of the O&M schedule; Work closely with and under the direction client onsite representatives; Manage daily and weekly responsibilities of other O&M staff; Conduct off-hours and/or weekend inspections of the site remediation systems as needed. Successful Candidates Should Have: 5-10 years of verifiable technical experience. Physical strength and stamina required to complete strenuous work for long shifts outdoors. Great decision making and problem-solving skills. Great oral communication and comprehension skills. Excellent professionalism and teamwork needed. Valid California Driver’s License with a clean driving record. Must meet company defined, pre-employment and annual physicals including alcohol/drug screens. High School Diploma or equivalent. HAZWOPER 40-hour training preferred (but not required ). Pay Range: $36 to $42 per hour depending on experience and education. Powered by JazzHR
