Welcome to DAS Technology Group; we are specialized recruiters for the RF/Microwave & Defense/Space Industry. We are working on behalf of our client who designs and deploys RF and Radar products for the next generation of radar used in a wide variety of exciting commercial and military/defense applications.We are seeking a Senior Electrical Engineering to help with creating the electrical solution of our client's radar products. This role will be part of a growing, innovative product development team.The ideal candidate has:• Subsystem design, analysis, schematic capture, circuit board layout, prototyping, bring-up and debugging, hardware bug tracking, functional verification and signal characterization, test and support through production.Required Skills• 3+ years of experience with designing and implementing of analog, digital or mixed-signal circuit boards from concept through production using operational amplifiers, filters, and transistors, analog to digital and digital to analog converters, power supply components, multi-GHz Serdes, DRAM interfaces (DDR4), CAN, I2C, Ethernet, SPI, FPGAs, ASICs, and processors• 3+ years of experience with testing/troubleshooting/qualification techniques, signal integrity, layout and grounding principles• 3+ years of experience with DFx (EMC, EMI, reliability, manufacturability, test, etc.)• Experience working with Gigabit Ethernet PHY and 802.3af / at PoE circuitry• Power system and circuit design techniques for DC/DC, AC/DC, and various topologies (buck, boost, buck/boost, flyback, flybuck, et al)• Experience in highspeed interface design: JESD, LVDS, multi gigabit Ethernet, USB etc.. Signal integrity design and verification with the above buses are crucial to this position.• Strong emphasis on full lifecycle development of new hardware systems -- not small incremental updates to legacy hardware• Strong understanding of computers, programming languages, scripting tools and automation (C/C++, Python, Matlab, etc.)• Ability to work in a fast paced, autonomously driven, and demanding start-up atmosphere• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal Desired Skills & Experience• Experience with RTOS, embedded systems• Knowledge of networking and internetworking concepts and technologies (Ethernet OSI Layers TCP/IP packet inspection and analysis, application protocols)• Familiarity with Altium design suite or similar• Wireless or Communications products experience is a strong plusAdditional Job Requirements:• BS or MS in either Electrical Engineering• Minimum of 3 years of industry experience developing real-world products or systems• Willingness / ability to travel occasionally for customer visits / supplier visits• Self-motivated personality and ability to work independently as well as on a team• Ability to multi-task between two or more projects• Must be US CitizenPowered by JazzHR
