This role presents a unique opportunity for a seasoned attorney to handle a range of complex criminal defense cases, collaborate with a highly skilled legal team, and engage in professional growth. The attorney will oversee case management, client interaction, and will work closely with a supportive team of attorneys and legal staff. This is a pivotal position for someone ready to advance their career in a fast-paced environment.Duties:Advise clients on their legal rights and draft necessary legal documentationRepresent clients during pretrial hearings and offer strategic advice after each appearanceHandle court appearances, trials, motion drafting, witness interviews, and legal researchAnalyze potential case outcomes by reviewing legal precedents and case lawManage a caseload efficiently while balancing multiple responsibilitiesProvide detailed legal analysis to help clients understand potential case outcomesGather and prepare evidence to support the client’s defense or contest prosecution claimsPrepare clients for depositions, set clear case goals, and collect critical information from witnesses and expertsRequirements:Minimum of 4-5 years of experience in criminal defense lawProven experience managing complex cases at federal, state, and local levelsStrong teamwork capabilities with a collaborative approach to strategyBilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is requiredExcellent interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively engage with clients and colleaguesEducation:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law schoolCertifications:Active member of the California State BarSkills:Advanced research, writing, and communication abilitiesAnalytical problem-solving skills to develop effective case strategiesStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-demand environmentA team-oriented mindset with a client-focused approach to legal practice
