The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mergers and acquisitions, including drafting and negotiating definitive and ancillary documents, managing deal processes and client relationships, and supervising junior associates.Duties:Lead the drafting and negotiation of definitive and ancillary documents related to mergers and acquisitions.Manage the deal process from inception to closing, ensuring smooth transactions for clients.Supervise and mentor junior associates, providing guidance on complex legal matters.Handle day-to-day demands on a variety of mergers and acquisitions related matters.Maintain effective communication with internal teams and external clients.Requirements:6-8 years of mergers and acquisitions experience.Strong interpersonal and communication skills.High degree of maturity and business sense.Experience managing internal and external client relationships.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.Education and Certifications:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Admission to the Florida State Bar (or ability to obtain admission promptly).Skills:Proficiency in drafting and negotiating legal documents.Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy.Familiarity with corporate law principles and practices.Preferred Qualifications:Experience working in a large regional, national, or international law firm.Additional certifications or advanced degrees related to corporate law.
