Senior Beverage Application Scientist

We are looking for a Senior Beverage Application Scientistto join our team and support the Flavors business in North America.This position is a key member of the Sensient team, where you will be required to collaborate at our onsite Hoffman Estates location five days per week.Job Responsibilities:What you'll do:Create beverage products to demonstrate Sensient's product lines and effectively communicate the status of projects to the Applications Manager.Demonstrate leadership skills by integrating creative and technical expertise in a team environment. Participate in cross-functional project activities.Identify and focus resources on new technologies and ingredients that will provide innovative solutions to customer and industry issues.Work with a sense of urgency and be customer-oriented. Provide ongoing communication with the Sales team to provide the customer with timely service to meet their objectives.Utilize the expertise of the creative flavorists and sensory groups to provide flavor systems that meet or exceed project objectives.May accompany Account Representatives on customer calls to help educate our customers on company strengths and capabilities. Assist the customer by providing solutions for their product and process challenges.Some travel may be required to visit customers and support plant scale ups.Work in the pilot plant and help to run equipment and test new products.
