We are pleased to announce that due to growth, we are opening an opportunity for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our amazing team in beautiful Sarasota, FL.-Responsible for the monthly close of 50 general ledgers- Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, and forecasts- Ensure compliance with accounting principles and company policies- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes- Perform general ledger accounting and reconciliations- Partner with offshore accounting team- Monitor and maintain internal controls in accordance with SOX regulations- Collaborate with external auditors during financial audits- Integrate and collaborate with accounting team- Stay updated on industry trends and changes in accounting regulationsExperience:- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (or equivalent experience) required, Master's preferred- Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting (Multi-location Medical/Dental experience a huge plus!)- Strong knowledge of financial concepts and principles- Proficiency in general ledger accounting and double-entry bookkeeping- Experience with Sage or similar accounting software- Previous experience in public accounting is a plus- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in workWe offer competitive compensation and benefits packages, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
