We're seeking a Senior Account Manager to join our team and looking for someone to fill this role who is extremely skilled at providing strategic leadership while cultivating trusted relationships. The right candidate will have strong critical thinking skills, impeccable organization and communication, be passionate about the industry and in tune with market trends. The responsibility of the Senior Account Manager is to be the client's representative at the agency, and the agency's representative at the client's organization. As a Senior Account Manager, you are responsible for stewarding clients and internal teams forward, client satisfaction and the integrity of the work our team delivers. While our headquarters are in downtown Portland, we are open to this role being fully remote within the United States. Other key responsibilities include but are not limited to: Project Role: Define and manage the translation of the client's vision into business requirements and work with the internal production, planning and creative teams to produce strategic recommendations and project outlines Manage full-service accounts as the "go-to" person Partner with Project Management to guarantee a smooth and seamless experience for clients and ensure project success Work with Project Management to effectively manage and forecast resource needs for department to meet project load Serve as a first point of escalation for all client-related issues for assigned client(s) and act in the best interest of Pollinate and our clients Run organized meetings with desired outcomes achieved in order to move a project or team forward Create, review and negotiate contracts Grow accounts by working with agency team to proactively bring new opportunities to clients based upon the agency's services and capabilities Effectively develop and manage revenue projections and profitability of client accounts Advocate for client's marketing targets in terms of sales, market-share, product landscape Be a key player in strategic discussions on a day-to-day basis, while still looking at the long-term view Partner with clients on the growth of their business goals Professional Role: Demonstrate Pollinate's core values of curiosity and adaptability Advocate for good creative and strategic work Collaborate internally and with clients to ensure all teams are set up for success Able to convey sometimes difficult information or updates to a client incisively and with clarity of thought, in a way that builds constructive and lasting client relationships Mentor junior employees by offering thoughtful direction and feedback Seek input from mentors and supervisors and accept offered feedback Apply feedback in an effort to improve performance and quality Organizational Role: Develop strategic plans and briefs to meet client goals Manage focused, on-time, professional meetings Identify and/or address areas of efficiency in collaboration with teams Accurately report weekly time with appropriate level of detail Estimate work effort for assigned tasks and meet deadlines Resource management and scheduling Management of invoicing and contracts for respective clients Desired Skills and Experience 5+ years working in an advertising agency environment Significant experience in professional client relationship management Effective critical thinking to provide valuable and strategic leadership Strong ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously Attention to detail and high level of accuracy Exceptionally organized and able to juggle multiple clients and projects while making them all feel like the only one Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to present Knows how to nurture and defend creative projects Reliable, motivated and positive If this sounds like you, please apply!
