Randstad Education are currently working closely with a large SEND school in South Gloucestershire. They require a teacher who can teach across most year groups on a cover teacher basis. The job is to start ASAP and will be on a temporary basis through Randstad to begin with, leading to a permanent position. If you have experience teaching in SEND provisions and can adapt your teaching to a variety of students with differing cognitive and physical disabilities, we need you About the school: Amazing school with beautiful grounds and excellent facilities Pupils have a range of cognitive and physical needs (from ages 4:19) ASC, MLD, PMLD, Complex Needs Small class sizes and excellent staffing ratios Highly personalised approach to learning The ideal candidate for this role will have: UK Qualified Teacher Status (or equivalent) Relevant classroom experience within last 2 years The right to work in the UK (no sponsorship provided for this role) Experience of working with students with SEND/PMLD/MSI/ASC The ability to adapt to a range of learning styles based on the needs and preferences of the children A caring manner and the ability to build a good rapport with staff and children alike The flexibility to teach different age groups in one class Essential requirements: Relevant teaching qualification (PGCE, BEd, QTS) Recent classroom experience. Flexibility, adaptability, and a willingness to work as part of a team.
