Job title: Security Officer I (Part-time) Days: Monday - Wednesday Hours: 2:00 p.m. - 10 p.m. Department / Division: Protection Services / HR Salary Grade: NXA 9 Salary Range $20.00 - $26.14 per hour Location: Quincy, WA What We're Looking For: We are looking for a security professional who can deliver exceptional customer service while ensuring the safety of our people and property. Our Protection Services officers provide around-the-clock security services at our facilities, 7 days a week. You will be the first responder whenever a situation is reported. A lot of your time would be spent walking security routes on the property, which is done regardless of the weather, and performing security checks. You will also handle alarm issues and facility access control. The site is a 75.000 sq. ft. manufacturing facility that processes botanical ingredients for our products. This is a part-time role, working 3 8-hour shifts for 24 hours total per week. Required qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree or higher preferred Valid State Driver's License required Skills to be successful in the role: A passion to deliver a high level of customer service Proficiency in Microsoft Office A "team player" approach demonstrating enthusiasm and a positive attitude by being a dependable teammate with business maturity Flexibility to work different schedules, shifts and locations Demonstrated skill in the following: Report writing Communication Problem-solving Conflict Management Time Management Decision Making What's special about this team: As part of the Protection Services Department, you'll manage the security needs of Amway's people and properties. The Protection Services team is focused on providing physical security, loss prevention, emergency management, and business support services along with best-in-practice enterprise security risk management strategies. This is an interesting and meaningful role responsible for the safety and security of Amway employees, IBOs, guests, and facilitie s. This role is "Not" eligible for sponsorship. Actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years & depth of experience, certifications and specific office location.
