Position Summary:This temporary position is located in the Bunge soybean processing plant in Decatur, IN. The Harvest Help position is responsible for providing temporary assistance to the plant in preparation for and during the fall harvest.This is a full-time, temporary position with benefits after 90 days.Must be willing to work weekends, holiday, and 2nd / 3rd shift.Starting pay is $23.33.Effective July 1st, 2024 starting pay will increase to $24.03Come join a team that puts safety first every day!Core Functions:o Clean silos and bowls in preparation for harvesto Provide relief for regular employeeso Operate bean dump scaleso Operate conveyors to direct beans to proper siloo Process paperwork per department procedureso Perform cleaning within the department as directedo Responsible to adhere to the Food Safety Culture to provide safe product to consumerso Report any concerns with safe food practiceso Work safely and assist coworkers as neededo Perform other duties as assignedo Follows all safety policies and procedureso Follows Good Manufacturing PracticesSkills / Experience Requirements:o High School Diploma / GED preferredo Ability to work safely and follow policies and procedureso Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.o Must be able to work at heights and in confined spaceso Good communication skillso Ability to work in a team environmento Willing to work overtime and flexible hourso Must be able to work weekends and holidayso Must be able to work 2nd / 3rd shifto Good attendanceBunge (NYSE: BG) is a world leader in sourcing, processing and supplying oilseed and grain products and ingredients.
