If you have a passion for helping animals, and a love for serving others - we want you to help us deliver on that promise by joining our Information Technology Team.The Salesforce Commerce Cloud Engineer will work closely with the product team, tech leads, and software engineers to bring high-quality world-class solutions to the market. This person will help define and shape the engineering practices across the Product Technology team and must be a voracious learner and a great teammate. When will you work? This is a full-time position with flexibility to work remotely. We have corporate offices in both Portland, ME, and Swedesboro, NJ. What you'll do: Work with a delivery team to help understand, define, design, and build solutions on our Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) platform. Define and implement practical and pragmatic software engineering standards and best practices to help deliver high-quality solutions in quick turnaround times Develop, test, and support code in an agile environment Languages and Technologies: Salesforce Commerce Cloud - required Salesforce B2C-CRM-SYNC framework Salesforce Order Management System integration HTML, CSS, Javascript - required RESTful and SOAP API Integrations - strongly preferred What you've done: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Applications, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field 3+ years full-stack software development experience specific to the required technologies outlined above Experience with or exposure to Salesforce Commerce Cloud and Salesforce Order Management implementation, customization, and development including product catalog, pricing, promotions, cart/checkout, and customer profiles Who you are: Outstanding attention to detail and capacity to demonstrate continual learning Exceptional analytical and problem-solving capabilities Strong interpersonal verbal and written skills Team player that is willing and able to occasionally play different roles to help the team deliver a high-quality solution * Self-motivated: Bring a strong work ethic.
