RN Oncology Location: Asheville, NC Duration: Fulltime Shift Information: Days, Full Time, Mon-Fri 8a-5p Description: Ideal: OCN Certified, prior oncology experience is ideal. Experiencing accessing ports and picc lines. Infusion. Preference: If not oncology, ED and Med/Surg are OK. No Psych, ICU, L&D. Required Experience/Qualifications: Registered Nurse, licensed in the State of employment, with experience in IV therapy. Experience with hematology/oncology patients in a clinic or hospital is required. Ability to assess patient needs and condition is essential. Must have strong critical thinking skills, as well as the ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations. Current CPR & BLS certifications are required. Fluency in the English language with excellent oral and written communication skills is required.
