The Crowne Plaza Englewood is hiring a PM Restaurant Supervisor. Supervises and directs restaurant staff. Interacts with guests to ensure a positive experience. Responsibilities:• In the absence of the Restaurant Manager, carries out the daily operation of the restaurant ensuring effective communication of all required standards and procedures to all restaurant employees• Ensure customer satisfaction by promoting excellent service• Respond to customer complaints tactfully and professionally• Maintain quality control for all food served• Analyze staff evaluations and feedback to improve the customer's experience• Project future needs for goods, kitchen supplies, and cleaning products• Oversee health code compliance and sanitation standards• Look for ways to cut waste and decrease operational costs• Train new employees and provide ongoing training for all staff• Book events in the private dining room & ensure proper deposits are taken• Ensures all daily checklists are completed for front-of-house and culinary staff• Perform any other job duties as assigned Qualifications:• Prior hotel server service role preferred • Knowledge of Micros • Must be available to work ALL shifts (PM Shifts) • Excellent communication and customer service skills Compensation: $19 per hour About Company: Located near the New York-Presbyterian/Columbia University Irving Medical Center, our business hotel in Englewood, NJ offers guests well-appointed guestrooms and wonderful amenities, including free Wi-Fi, complimentary parking, an indoor pool, and elegant meeting spaces.
