Minneapolis Delta Hotel is seeking candidates for our open Restaurant Manager position who have a passion for food and serving others. You will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the restaurant. Schedule will be in conjunction with the Restaurant Supervisors to include hours to cover the 7 days a week of operation. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Train, motivate, lead and develop the Restaurant team. Train employees in food service, sanitation and safety procedures. Resolve guest complaints regarding service and/or food quality. Receive incoming phone calls, make reservations and handle guest requests. Observe and evaluate employees to ensure quality standards of service and assist in completing reviews and disciplinary write-ups when necessary. Responsible for stocking, ordering and managing all alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in the restaurant. Maintain par levels and inventory of supplies and equipment within the department. Responsible for scheduling TC 400 employees. Maintain sanitation, health and safety standards in work areas by adhering to sanitary food handling practices. Ensure that employees consistently follow proper alcohol service guidelines. Adhere to established cash control procedures and maintain an accurate cash bank.
