At Livity, we offer a residency training program that provides advanced training to professionals post-graduate school. Participants in our training program receive intensive training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Radically Open DBT, the effective treatment of eating disorders, and the business of private practice. Additionally, the development of each employee as a therapist is an integral component of our residency program. Upon completion of our program, each participant will have the necessary skills to thrive in a private practice setting. As an employee, you will have the opportunity to work under a Certified Eating Disorders Specialist and Consultant (CEDS-C) to accumulate the necessary experience to qualify for your CEDS certification. You will also work with other therapists and dieticians who have extensive experience in treating conditions like anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, ARFID, and binge eating disorder. Additionally, we encourage you to take 4 weeks off per year, and the residency program is structured with that in mind. Work/life balance is just as important as meeting the hourly requirements Compensation Based on experience, our hourly rate ranges from $46.50 to $61.50 . Assuming you take four weeks off each year, this equates to a rough yearly compensation of $58,750 to $78,500 . Additionally, there is a cost-of-living increase given at the beginning of each calendar year and yearly opportunities for promotion . About the position Our residency program starts on September 4 th 2024, and the training portion of our program runs intensively for 9 months. It is geared toward providing all the supervision hours necessary to obtain your independent license. Already have an independent license? No problem; we’d still love to have you go through our program, and we provide compensation incentives based on experience. Activities include: During Residency Training See approximately 21 clients per week Co-lead a weekly DBT Skills Group with a senior therapist Participate in a weekly training day that is both didactic and experiential Receive supervision appropriate to licensure Participate in DBT Consultation Team and staff meetings After Residency Training See approximately 26 clients per week Co-lead a weekly DBT Skills Group Receive supervision appropriate to licensure Participate in DBT Consultation Team and staff meetings Requirements Eligible candidates will have an Associates License (APCC, AMFT, ASW) or an Independent License (LPCC, LMFT, LCSW) to practice in the State of California .
