We provide key advisory consulting to senior management with respect to onsite supervision, while also supporting regulatory and supervisory policy.Within Regulatory Relations, the capital, liquidity and finance team is seeking a Manager to play an integral role in ensuring that Capital One proactively responds to the changing regulatory landscape and delivers on commitments to our regulators in a timely manner. You should consider this role if you: Relish interacting with senior leaders and regulatory agenciesThrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment where priorities often changePossess strong critical thinking, written and verbal communication skillsUnderstand and appreciate risk managementCrave bringing organization and attention-to-detail to your body of workEnjoy thinking critically and solving problemsEnjoy managing multiple deliverables at the same timeDesire an opportunity to learn and grow in the regulatory affairs and risk management realms Primary Responsibilities: Foster productive relationships between Capital One and Federal Regulatory Supervisory staff.Support examination preparation activities (logistics management, fulfillment of responses to the examination request letter) in the areas that primarily include risk management and finance.Support execution of the examination on-site activities, e.g., meetings, document requests, matrix management, daily calls, issue resolution.Identify potential risk areas through the review of policies, procedures, and related documents and influence potential corrective actions.Monitor corrective actions and ensure they are on-track for appropriate and timely mitigation.Support advocacy efforts by researching and analyzing new regulatory and supervisory policy developments. Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree or military experienceAt least 3 years of experience in risk management, audit, finance, consulting, regulatory agencies, or any combination Preferred Qualifications: At least 5 years of experience in risk management, finance, audit, consulting, regulatory agencies, or a combinationAt least 5 years of experience supporting integrated projects or programs where senior leaders and external stakeholders are your customersAt least 3 years of experience working in banking and financial servicesAt least 3 years of experience working with banking regulators and regulatory policy At this time, Capital One will not sponsor a new applicant for employment authorization for this position. The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.New York City (Hybrid On-Site): $147,800 - $168,700 for Risk ManagerCandidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate's offer letter.This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI).
