Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - Emergency Room Location: Fort Walton Beach, FL Shift: 12-Hour Nights (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM) Schedule: 3 Shifts Per Week (36 Hours) Salary Range: $27.72 - $39.60 per hour Job Overview: We are looking for a skilled Emergency Room RN to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients with varying degrees of injury and illness. The ideal candidate will be a quick thinker, effective decision-maker, and adept multitasker, ready to adapt to the challenges that arise in an emergency setting. Key Responsibilities: Triage, assess, and treat patients of all ages, ensuring high-quality care is delivered. Develop and implement individualized care plans, prescribing strategies and alternatives to meet expected outcomes. Manage multiple cases simultaneously, providing general nursing care and prioritizing needs as they arise. Collaborate with physicians and other departments, ensuring patient-focused and safe care at all times. Provide follow-up care instructions to patients and make necessary referrals. Maintain accurate documentation of patient care and treatment plans in accordance with hospital policies. Qualifications: Minimum of 1 year of acute care experience within the last 3 years (trauma experience preferred). Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Florida or ability to obtain licensure prior to start. Associate Degree in Nursing or Diploma in Nursing. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (must be obtained within 30 days of hire). Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification (must be obtained within 90 days of hire). Nonviolent Crisis Intervention certification (must be obtained within 90 days of hire). Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification (must be obtained within 90 days of hire). Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification (must be obtained within 60 months of hire). Trauma experience in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage emergency situations with confidence. Strong communication and teamwork skills.
