Our progressive surgicenter is offering an excellent opportunity for an experienced Registere Nurse – Pre-op/PACU. Summary: Provides care to patients pre- and post-operatively. Requires the ability to prioritize pre-op patients, preparing them for surgery utilizing proper assessment and proficiency in IV insertion. Monitor patients post-operatively and develops patient, family, significant other discharge plan by unit standard. Ability to efficiently educate patients and prepare them properly for safe discharge from facility. Current ACLS and BLS certification is required. Qualifications: High School graduate or GED certificate recipient. Graduate of accredited school of nursing (BSN preferred). Current licensure in the State of Florida as a Registered Nurse Must be current in BCLS ACLS certification within six months of hire date Must have 1 year of critical care or recovery room experience. No "call", no weekends or holidays. This is a Full-time position with competitive salary and benefits (health, dental, vision, disability, life insurances and 401k).
