Position overview: The Regional Account Manager Asia-Pacific (APAC) - including Europe and Non-Arab Speaking Africa, is a critical player within the international group, charged with devising and executing the revenue growth strategy within their assigned territory. This role directly oversees market segments such as International Schools, Private Schools, NGOs, Special Partnerships, and Public Government deals. The Regional Account Manager will work in tandem with the Senior Director of Learning and Implementation and the Director of Partner Success International to nurture and develop schools, school groups, public sectors, and strategic partnerships. Specific roles and responsibilities: Own the regional growth strategy and execution. Prospect and compile a list of the top 50 target schools within the territory. Develop a plan for cross-selling and up-selling to existing schools in the region Conduct at least two strategic visits to the region, scheduling a dense agenda with schools and public sector partners to maximize relationship-building and sales opportunities. Collaborate with senior leadership to support schools and develop the public sector and partnerships. Establish and maintain relationships with decision-makers, including school boards, and act as the primary point of contact. Coordinate training sessions, presentations, and demos with schools. Work with the International team to maximize value extraction from our tools for the schools. Create and implement a detailed plan for customer success and retention. Engage with and participate actively in the association of international schools and seek sponsorship and marketing opportunities. Qualifications: Proven experience in international sales and account management, preferably in the education sector (5+ years). Flexibility in working hours: This role requires frequent coordination with clients across multiple time zones, including meetings outside of regular business hours and occasional weekend commitments. Willingness and ability to travel extensively internationally (30%): Travel within APAC, Europe, and Africa is a core role component, often involving extended stays and travel over weekends. Demonstrated success in driving growth strategies in diverse markets: Experience working with international schools, public sector engagements, and NGOs. Strong interpersonal and communication skills: Ability to establish relationships with senior decision-makers, including school boards, and maintain those relationships over time. Proficiency in Salesforce and Asana: Familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) systems and project management tools Results-driven mindset: A focus on meeting and exceeding sales quotas, with a track record of achieving targets in international markets. Exceptional organizational skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively across different territories and stakeholders. Experience in managing long sales cycles: Understanding the nuances of international business, including government and private sector engagement, and the ability to navigate complex decision-making processes. Self-starter: Ability to work independently while coordinating with global teams and leadership.
