Job Summary The Recruiting Specialist undertakes all responsibilities related to hiring, onboarding and field staff support. They help navigate candidates from start to finish through the hiring process and upkeep all new hire files. Reporting to the HR Supervisor – the Recruiting Specialist also assists with onboarding, orientations, job fairs, recruiting and compliance. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Recruiting Facilitates, and implements all phases of the recruitment process. Sourcing candidates, screening and interviewing qualified candidates using an Applicant Tracking System (Agency). Explains position, hiring process, and compensation structure to candidates. Onboarding Prepare new hire paperwork ensuring legislative requirements are met. Perform reference investigation to gain adequate information on which to base a selection decision. Maintains and ensures compliance with applicable equal employment opportunity (EEO) and related employment laws and regulations. Oversees the new hire onboarding process by verifying the completion of new hire orientation and ensuring new hires are appropriately scheduled for first assignments. Ensure all records (I-9, E-Verify, State and Federal background, licensing, and certification) are compliant and uploaded into the new hires electronic file. Field Staff Support Performs customer service functions by answering employee requests and questions in person, via email or by phone. Directs employee requests and questions to responsible departments. Assists field staff with updates to iSolved profiles including personal information, direct deposit, wage changes and password resets. Manages payroll discrepancies, loan requests and Wisely card updates. Completes employment verifications as needed. Performs other duties as assigned. High school diploma or equivalent 3 + years of Customer Service experience Communication and presentation skills are required Proven self-starter Understanding of the company and services that are offered Demonstrated computer skills Strong understanding of state and federal rules and regulations Bi-lingual Physical Demands: Must remain in stationary position for long periods of time at desk or computer Requires occasionally standing, sitting, walking; using hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reaching with hands and arms; climbing stairs; hearing; talking Work Environment: Occasional travel to local offices for onboarding or training. These services include (but are not limited to) assistance with self-administration of medications, personal care such as assistance with personal hygiene, dressing, and feeding, homemaking such as assistance with household tasks housekeeping, shopping, meal planning and preparation, and transportation, companionship, respite care such as assistance and support provided to the family; and other non-skilled services. We conduct criminal background checks when required on all staff. We also conduct physicals and tuberculosis screenings for all direct care workers and office staff with direct consumer contact upon hiring and on a yearly basis. The direct care workers of the Company are required to complete a minimum of forty (40) hours of experience or practical training and a competency evaluation, or a state certification program. This training includes information regarding personal hygiene, safe transfer techniques, infection control, and basic nutrition. All direct care workers of our company also receive supervised practical training before having direct contact with a consumer or verification of prior experience.
