Our clients receive services for addiction, parenting, and learn how their alcohol or substance use contributes to Adverse Childhood Experiences. As an RA, we know you will improve their relationship and communication skills in an effort to break the generational transmission of risk. Essential Functions: Be available to clients seeking guidance or support, as well as responding appropriately to identify needs. Transport clients to appointments, meetings, etc. Supervise client activities. Respond to emergencies and effectively manage crisis. Record pertinent client data. Monitor health needs of clients and supervise clients in self-administration of prescribed medication. Assist with tasks associated with clients arriving and leaving Wayside. Collect urine specimens for drug screens. Complete required paperwork for admissions and discharges Benefits: Benefits effective first of the month following date of hire. Schedule: Monday-Friday 2pm-10pm , 40 hours per week Sound like a good fit? Microsoft office/outlook experience knowledge and/or experience in the field of substance use disorder and/or mental health. Must be able to maintain client confidentiality in accordance with state and federal guidelines and HIPAA requirements. Must be able to pass a Minnesota DHS background study. Ability to pass a motor vehicle record check – no DUIs in last 3 years. Must value diversity and able to relate and enjoy working with clients and children of diverse economic and cultural backgrounds.
