Practice Area: Real Estate - General,Land Use & Zoning, Job Type: Attorney, Firm Type: Law Firm, Experience: 2 Years, A law firm seeks a dedicated Real Estate/Land Use Attorney to join its prestigious commercial and residential real estate and land use team in Allentown. The ideal candidate will have substantial real estate experience and a commitment to excellence in representing clients in complex land use and zoning matters.Duties:Represent owners and developers in land use and zoning proceedings, including applications, hearings, and appeals.Advise clients on eminent domain issues, real estate acquisitions and sales, and commercial leasing.Handle tax assessment appeals and related real estate disputes.Draft, review, and negotiate real estate documents, including purchase agreements, leases, and development agreements.Conduct thorough legal research and analysis on real estate and land use issues.Provide strategic counsel to clients on land use planning, zoning compliance, and regulatory matters.Collaborate with other attorneys and support staff to ensure comprehensive legal services for clients.Requirements:2-6 years of relevant experience in real estate law and land use matters.Active member of the Pennsylvania Bar in good standing; New Jersey Bar membership preferred.Strong academic credentials with a J.D. from an accredited law school.Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.Proven ability to interact effectively with clients and colleagues, demonstrating professional client interaction skills.Ability to independently manage projects, take ownership of cases, and work with minimal supervision.Exceptional attention to detail, with strong analytical and organizational skills.Education:Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.Certifications (Preferred):Certification in Real Estate Law or related specialization is a plus.Skills:Proficiency in legal research tools and software related to real estate and land use law.Strong negotiation skills with the ability to draft and review complex legal documents.In-depth understanding of zoning laws, land use regulations, and eminent domain procedures.Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while managing individual responsibilities effectively.Benefits Offered: The firm offers a competitive compensation and benefits package, including health, dental, vision, life insurance, 401(k), and other supplemental benefits.
