The ideal candidate will possess excellent writing and communication skills, meticulous attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering the highest quality client service.Job Duties:Provide legal counsel and support on real estate transactions related to renewable energy development projects.Draft, review, and negotiate various real estate documents, including purchase agreements, leases, easements, and development agreements.Conduct thorough due diligence reviews, including title examinations, surveys, and environmental assessments.Advise on zoning regulations, land use issues, and permitting requirements affecting real estate projects.Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to resolve complex real estate issues efficiently.Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and legal developments impacting real estate and renewable energy sectors.Assist in the development and implementation of legal strategies to support client goals and objectives.Requirements:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Admission to the New York State Bar or eligibility for admission via reciprocity.1-3 years of experience practicing real estate law, with a focus on title matters for renewable energy development.Strong understanding of real estate finance principles and project financing structures.Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively in a fast-paced environment.Certifications (Preferred):Certification in Real Estate Law or Energy Law from a recognized legal association or institution.Skills:Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Superior written and verbal communication abilities.Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.Proficiency in legal research, drafting legal documents, and negotiating complex agreements.Commitment to maintaining high ethical standards and client confidentiality.Strong organizational skills with an ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.Benefits:Flexible work schedule promoting work-life balance.Professional development opportunities and support for continuing legal education.Reimbursement for business development activities.Vacation award of $2,500 for lawyers achieving 600 client billable hours in a consecutive three-month period.Recruitment bonus of $30,000 for referring a non-partner lawyer who joins the firm.Lifetime benefit of $20,000 for recommended service.
