The ideal candidate will manage all real estate closings, ensuring legal compliance and delivering exceptional client service.Job Details:Oversee office residential and commercial real estate transactions, including residential and commercial sales and refinances.Review title documents to ensure clarity of ownership and resolve any title issues.Collaborate with lenders, brokers, agents, buyers, and sellers to facilitate smooth real estate transactions.Draft, review, and negotiate various legal documents, including contracts, deeds, leases, and purchase and sale agreements.Deliver professional and engaging client interactions, addressing client questions and concerns promptly and thoroughly.Review disbursement ledgers and authorize disbursements, including signing checks as necessary.Develop and nurture business relationships to generate new clients and referrals for the firm.Conduct training sessions and seminars for potential clients on relevant aspects of real estate law.Maintain membership in good standing with the South Carolina State Bar and adhere to all ethical and professional standards.Preferably possess experience in closing real estate transactions, focusing on residential real estate.Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a keen ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and clients.Exhibit a proactive and self-motivated work ethic, capable of achieving results independently and as part of a team.Display a growth mindset, particularly in the residential real estate sector, and contribute to the firm’s strategic objectives.Requirements:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.Admission to and member in good standing of the South Carolina State Bar.Proven experience handling real estate transactions, including closings and title review.Strong understanding of real estate law, contract law, and property rights.Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines efficiently.Proficiency in legal research and drafting legal documents.Commitment to delivering high-quality work and exceptional client service.Willingness to participate in community and professional organizations related to real estate law.Skills:Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Exceptional attention to detail.Negotiation skills to achieve favorable terms for clients.Ability to work independently and collaboratively.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal research databases.
