The ideal candidate will have 6+ years of experience, including expertise in leasing, acquisitions and dispositions, sale leasebacks, and real estate due diligence, particularly in connection with MA transactions.Duties:Negotiate and draft agreements for commercial real estate transactions, including leases, purchase agreements, and sale leaseback arrangements.Conduct real estate due diligence, including title review, zoning issues, and environmental assessments.Provide legal counsel and guidance to clients on complex real estate matters.Assist with the structuring and financing of real estate transactions.Collaborate with other attorneys, paralegals, and clients to ensure timely and effective transactional closings.Manage and oversee junior associates and paralegals on real estate projects.Handle any related regulatory and compliance issues.Requirements:6+ years of experience in commercial transactional real estate law.Proven track record in handling leasing, acquisitions and dispositions, sale leasebacks, and real estate due diligence.Strong understanding of MA transactions and their real estate components.Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Admission to the State Bar of Connecticut (required).Education:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Certifications:Admission to the State Bar of Connecticut.Skills:Excellent negotiation and drafting skills.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Ability to manage multiple complex transactions simultaneously.Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy.Effective communication and interpersonal skills.Proficiency in legal research and writing.Familiarity with real estate software and databases.Additional Qualifications:Experience with cross-border real estate transactions is a plus.Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment.Commitment to delivering high-quality legal services and client satisfaction.
