Job Overview: Responsible for moving product. A forklift operator at TONY'S FINE FOODS - WEST SACRAMENTO, CA is required to have a strong understanding of their lift, the pallets associate is carrying, productivity measures and safety procedures.Rate of Pay: Starting at $21.25/HR.Schedule:Candidate must be able to work our 5 DAYS + MANDATORY OVERTIME; 4AM START TIME - UNTIL THE WORK IS DONE.We re fully operational SUNDAY- FRIDAY, WAREHOUSE CLOSED SATURDAYS.Schedule depends on business needs. Candidates who are applying to any of our full-time roles must be flexible to work any day during the week to be considered. Serious inquiries only.Job Responsibilities and Accountabilities:Reports to the receiving office at the beginning of each shift for the daily assignment, vehicle inspectionsheet and replenishment discrepancies sheet.Inspects assigned lift and completes vehicle inspection sheet.Replenishes pick slots using the view request screen. If no requests exist, uses the manual replenishscreen to fill empty or almost empty slots.Maintains correct counts and logs any discrepancies in inventory.Cuts and removes shrink wrap from all knockdowns.Removes all empty pallets from pick locations and aisles. Separates the good, bad, and blue pallets andneatly stages in pallet staging area.Parks and recharges lift in its appropriate spot at the end of the shift.Job Requirements:Working in a freezer environment anywhere between -35 to -5 degreesUnderstanding of Safety guidelines.Strong knowledge of applicable warehouse functions and RF systems.Warehouse/Operations preferred but not required.At least 6 months experience on sit down or stand-up forklift.All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, disability, or protected veteran status.
