Road & Rail Services Railcar Mechanical Manager Location: Greensburg, IN. We are seeking a mechanically-inclined working manager. This position requires: Managing day-to-day operational activities at our Greensburg, IN. location to assure activities are accomplished in an efficient, cost-effective, and safe manner Providing supervision of railcar mechanics Inspecting railcars for AAR/FRA defects Insuring paperwork for railcar repairs is correct and complete Maintaining a valid state driver's license if required to operate company equipment Working flexible schedules and all shifts, sometimes including weekends and holidays Experience Needed: Two years of supervisory experience Strong mechanical background Stick welding and metal fabrication Utilizing cutting torches, grinders, and basic hand tools Railroad experience is preferred Work and Environmental Conditions: Must be able to constantly work in an outdoor environment, exposed to all weather elements, including extreme hot and cold temperatures, dust and noisy conditions Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, and being on call Must be able to frequently climb, using various types of ladders, to heights in excess of 16 feet Must be able to properly wear all required Personal Protective Equipment We Offer: Benefits package including Medical, Dental, and 401K Paid Holidays and Vacations Annual Steel Toe Boot allowance All Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) provided Veteran Friendly Promote from within mentality Yearly safety bonuses And much more!
