Radiation Oncology physician job in Pennsylvania : HEADLINE : Philadelphia , PA (very desirable suburb): BE/BC Radiation Oncologist is needed to join the Radiation Oncology Department of their well-regarded community hospital. It is affiliated with a major university. The department currently has three Radiation Oncologists and additional staff members. Full-time and part-time positions are available. Weekday and weekend call will be 1:4. This is a hospital based and employed opportunity. $ Excellent financial package. LOCATION : Philadelphia , Pennsylvania This is a very desirable suburb of Philadelphia . It is located within a short drive to Philadelphia . PRACTICE OPPORTUNITY : Located in a very desirable suburb of Philadelphia , a BE/BC Radiation Oncologist is needed to join the Radiation Oncology Department of a full-service and well-regarded community hospital.This hospital has a major university affiliation. Their Radiation Oncology Department currently consists of three Radiation Oncologists, medical physicists,medicaldosimetrists, radiation therapists, a nursing staff, and nutritionists. Full-time and part-time Radiation Oncology employment opportunities are available. DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES: Perform radiation procedures carefully targeted to kill cancer cells. Work closely with medical oncologists, surgeons and other doctors to determine the most appropriate course of treatment for people diagnosed with cancer. Perform external beam radiation therapy and internal radiation therapy. Call schedule: The weekdays and weekend call schedule will be 1:4. Their Radiation Oncologists work at a state-of-the-art facility with all oncology sub-specialties and tumor boards. Hospital : As previously stated, their hospital that they will be employed by is a full-service and well-regarded community hospital. It has a major university affiliation. It is also one of the area's leading providers of comprehensive inpatient and outpatient services. It offers a full range of acute, ambulatory and emergency services. Availability: Radiation Oncology residents and fellows who will be completing their training during 2022 and June of 2023 as well as physicians already in practice and who have all levels of work experience are all welcome to apply and will all be strongly considered.
