I am recruiting for a specialist bespoke, high end residential contractor who have a major new development near Andover and are looking for a Quantity surveyor to join their team. The company are a recognised brand in their chosen marketplace and have built some of the largest high spec dwellings for high net worth individuals across the South and have proven and developed procedures, supply chain and their own internal joinery workshops and fitters. Your duties will be to work with the estimating and bid teams to firm up prices and costs for each package based on the initial bids, compile a working scope of works and bill of quantities for each package and work with the supply chain to establish how each phase will be delivered. Place orders, arrange pre start meetings and then manage the scheme in conjunction with the delivery team and carry out the standard QS role of valuations, payments, remeasures, managing variation accounts, CVRs and weekly, monthly reporting and forecasting through to final account. The initial scheme is a part new build and part refurb of an existing standalone country dwelling with new extensions, upgrades and substantial groundworks and engineering packages on a JCT foc approx GBP65 million. The role would be ideal for someone looking to work on a high spec, quality led development from a Tier 1 background. Please get in contact with me for more details.
