A growing Contractor is looking to appoint an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their team near Brighton. If youre an experienced Quantity Surveyor with a strong background in the construction industry, who is seeking a new role then you should apply today This company works in several sectors including Commercial, Residential and Healthcare and is looking to appoint a skilled professional on a permanent basis to join their growing and successful business. You will be working closely with the Commercial team for all commercial aspects of a project or sections or particular scope of a project. You will be responsible for delivering projects from GBP1m : GBP15m. You will be working on 3:4 projects at a time and be responsible for valuations, payments, CVRs, reporting and forecasting. The majority of the projects are on a JCT form of contract. For this position, you will lead your own projects and work with contract administration, bids and tenders as well as managing contractors and sub: contractors. Measurement, pricing and evaluation of tenders. Producing and submitting applications/invoices for payment. Maximising value and minimising costs. Working to tight deadlines. Attending pre: let and post contract meetings. Who are we looking for? Quantity Surveyor/Construction qualifications. Tier 1 Contractor experience is required. Good communication skills. Good IT skills. Need to be based no further than 45 minutes travel time from the head office which is based near Brighton. What do you need to do now?
