Position: Quality Manager Location: Cerritos, CA CA Status: Exempt Job Summary The Quality Manager is a professional with in-depth knowledge and subject matter experience in Quality Management Systems and general business operations. This position requires a detail-oriented person that will ensure GST is ISO 9001:2015 compliant and moves projects to completion. This position will interact with all levels of employees, management, and customers to complete program compliance and projects. Position Objectives Oversee, maintain, and update GST Quality Management System Recertify and maintain GST's ISO 9001:2015 certification Perform internal audits. Prepare GST for external audits. Create procedures and forms to ensure compliance. Conduct quality and ISO trainings for internal staff members. Ensure organizational systems and training are in place and completed. Address non-conformities from audits and complete corrective action. Provide leadership to Department Managers regarding ISO9001 knowledge and training Participate in contract review process for client projects and purchase orders Perform other tasks related to quality management system and business operations. Essential Functions Knowledge of Quality Management Systems, ISO 9001:2015, and/or AS9100 standards Organizational Skills Proficient Communication skills both verbally and written. Time Management Problem Solving skills Detail Oriented Ability to manage team members to accomplish corporate goals. Project Management skills Complete schedule to align with customer and GST completion dates. Report and track P&L for assigned projects. Ensure continual customer and GST team contact for changes and/or delays to projects. Identify and provide feedback for changes or solutions to keep projects on completion timeline. Document past issues to fix and update GST processes. Preferred Education and Experience Bachelor's Degree in Project Management, or equivalent work experience. 5+ years of knowledge of ISO 9001, AS9003A, and/or quality management standards Computer technical skills Mandatory Requirement US Citizen Physical Demands and Work Environment The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
