Description:
TekModo Holding LLC seeks Quality Engineer in Three Rivers, MI. Works closely with engineering and production teams to ensure that quality is built into the product design and the production processes. Monitors and analyzes process and product data and works with team to effect continual improvement. Works with quality and lab technicians and provides guidance and training. Works with customers (internal and external) to resolve quality issues. Works with suppliers to resolve quality issues and facilitate continual improvement. Specific responsibilities: Perform and analyze process capability studies Design and analyze DOEs Perform Gage R&R and correlation studies Lead 8D/A3 corrective action and problem-solving teams Works with quality technicians and lab technicians on specific projects Work with a team to produce design and process FMEAs following joint AIAG/VDA guidelines Perform layered process audits (LPAs), 5S audits, and safety audits as assigned Participate in internal quality systems audits to support ISO 9001, IATF 16949, ISO/IEC 17025, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 compliance Work directly with customers to resolve quality concerns and facilitate continual improvement Work directly with suppliers to resolve quality concerns and facilitate permanent corrective action Monitor process parameters and product characteristics to facilitate process control and continual improvement Compile quality related KPI/KPC data for management review Other duties as assigned 10% domestic travel required. Requires: Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field and 1 year of experience as a Quality Engineer.
