Description:
The Judge Group is in search of a Quality Engineer for a machining company in the west suburbs. Join a well-established company with outstanding year over year growthy. In this role you'll implement the quality control system and procedures to improve quality and productivity. Identify areas for improvement while applying engineering methodologies and implementing new procedures. This job will have the following responsibilities:Provide recommendations to improve quality and productivityExplore opportunities to improve products and processesParticipate in lean manufacturing activities such as Kaizen events, 5S, 8D, Preventative Maintenance programs, RCA, 5-Why and other tools for enhancing productivityManage and lead internal quality auditsMaintain quality compliance and certification as well as internal and external auditsTrain employees on the proper tools and techniques to maintain complianceConduct quality and inspection testingPerform DTA testing, CPK analysis, FMEAs and PPAPsQualifications & Requirements:Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or similar discipline2+ years of Quality Engineering experience in manufacturing environmentLean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt is a plus
