Position Type: Full-Time Contract Duration: 12+ months Location: Jersey City, NJ (Onsite role in Hybrid Model - 3 days onsite in a week) As an , Python developer you will: Job Description: Developing Risk PL attribution systems for trading desks and combine both mathematical and technology skills with a focus on risk calculation, batching distribution. Responsible for underlying trading risk workflows and the interaction of booking, risk, market data and analytic systems Understanding of the flow of data from booking systems like RTW, VMASTER and PIONEER to the Quartz database and remote risk Utilizing highly specialized knowledge of Fixed Income products (specifically Interest Rate Derivatives) Responsible for developing Intraday/ Real-Time Front Office Risk/PL applications for the Interest Rates derivatives desk in NY within the umbrella of the horizontal FICC trading risk platforms supporting all desks, with emphasis on speed Providing End of Day Risk/ PL reports that are fed to enterprise teams outside of FICC including Finance, Market Risk and Regulatory/ Compliance, with emphasis on depth and comprehensive details. Required: Leveraging the firm's primary development environments such as Python platform (Quartz) and Java based high performance cache to store and retrieve data Advanced Python Skills, Fixed Income Business knowledge, Good interpersonal skills Comfortable with Quartz framework architecture, Analytical/mathematical skills, Previous experience with Fixed Income Rates products, Advanced Python Skills, Worked with Live Intraday Risk/PnL pricing systems in the past, worked with complex systems architecture involving interaction multiple applications, good communication skills and experience dealing with Traders/Front Office end users.
