As a leading prover of mental health services, we are committed to providing exceptional care and support to our geriatric patients and residents who are facing mental health challenges in the LTC community. If you are passionate about making a meaningful difference in the lives of others and thrive in a collaborative environment, we encourage you to apply.Schedule: 1-2 Consistent days per week (Part-Time) Compensation: $72-$110 per hour Why Choose Us?MindCare Solutions stands out by empowering Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners (PMHNPs) to practice to the fullest extent of their scopeWe maintain the highest standard of care by integrating evidence-based practices and the latest advancementsOur commitment to professional growth including fellowship and residency programs, supported by robust training and mentorshipOur prioritization of employee support through multi-tiered clinical assistance, flexible scheduling, and competitive salariesOur culture fosters a genuine commitment to patient well-being, reflecting our organizational DNA of Service Excellence in every aspect of mental health care services Duties/Responsibilities:Conduct thorough psychiatric assessments to evaluate residents' mental health statusFormulate accurate diagnoses and treatment plans based on clinical findingsThe Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner will develop individualized treatment plans, including medication management and therapy optionsCollaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure top tier Psychiatric care for residentsConduct 15-minute follow-ups (on average) and 30-45-minute new patient assessmentsThe Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner will prescribe and administer psychiatric medications as necessaryMonitor and adjust medication regimens to optimize effectiveness and minimize side effectsProvide evidence-based psychotherapy and counseling to residentsImplement therapeutic techniques to address a wide range of psychiatric conditionsThe Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner Offers education and support to residents and their families regarding mental health conditions and treatment optionsPromote mental health awareness and wellness among residentsMaintain accurate and up-to-date medical records in compliance with regulatory standardsEnsure timely and thorough documentation of all assessments and interventionsThe Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner will participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance mental health care services within the facilityCollaborate with the healthcare team to identify areas for improvement and implement changesQualifications:Valid license as a Registered Nurse; completion of Advanced Practice Nurse Program for Clinical Nurse Specialist or Certified Mental Health Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner in the state in which you've applied (OH, PA, WV, FL IN, VA)Strong knowledge of psychiatric assessment, diagnosis, and treatmentActive and unrestricted DEA (Drug Enforcement Administration) (We will help obtain)Excellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary teamKnowledge of regulatory and compliance standards in long-term care facilitiesPsychiatric Nurse Practitioners will maintain clinical competency & collaboration with Psychiatrist (we will provide)Direct experience with long-term care communities is preferred as a Psychiatric Nurse PractitionerAbility to travel within territory (75 mile radius of home residence)Active and unrestricted driver's license Benefits:Bonus Opportunities up to $50k per year paid out monthlyMileage reimbursementComprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverageRetirement savings plan with employer match (4%)Generous paid time off and holiday schedule (11 Paid Holidays + 120 additional hours of PTO accrued Bi-weekly)Opportunities for professional growth and advancementMalpractice CoverageHSA/FSALife/Ad&DMaternity Leave / Bereavement LeaveLicensure/ CEU reimbursementAt Mindcare Solutions, we are dedicated to fostering a supportive and inclusive work environment where every team member is valued and empowered to succeed.
